It's a good deal for a short stay. Simple, clean and with the expected space for europe standard. I had good time with my family with no problems. It's 15 min walk to oxford and 10 min walk from paddington station which is a big plus.
The only thing is towels. They just never change them no matter what you do. Overall, I would choose it again versus risking another hotel.

Its location is ideal, close to Paddington and Edgware Road tube stations, Edgware Road tube stations, and a cafe or restaurant. The staff are really helpful, managed the parking close to hotel...

Loved the location. We had a newly refurbished room. Very nice.
Our friends stayed in the rooms that hadn't been refurbished and they weren't very nice. There was a woman at the front desk that did alot of yelling on the phone. She seemed to be right about what she was saying to the customers on the phone, but it was still a little intimidating listening to her, knowing we had to hand her our key or ask her a question. We all laughed about it, she was friendly to us so maybe she was just having a bad couple of days, don't know! Wouldn't want to cross her. The steps to the rooms were extremely steep, but that's to be expected in an old building.

The hotel was cozy, with friendly staff and a fantastic location just a short walk from Paddington. The breakfast area was small and the offerings were pretty basic. The room was clean but definitely on the small side, which made things a bit cramped.

Excellent location for shopping and transport links.
Whilst checking out, most hotels can store your luggage in a secure location while you do your own thing. The orchard hotel does store your belongings but in their front room with minimum security. To improve this they could gave you a receipt and keep this room locked.
